Bing Yi, MD

Dr. Bing Yi graduated from the China Medical University in Shenyang, P.R. China. He completed his residency training in Surgical Oncology at The First Clinical College, China Medical University. He completed additional residency training for General Surgery at the Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, NE, and completed a Surgical Oncology fellowship at the Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence, RI.

Dr. Yi is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and specializes in advanced cancer surgery, especially involving the pancreas, liver and colon. He also performs surgery of the esophagus, stomach, endocrine system, melanoma, breast, soft tissue sarcoma, and head and neck surgery. He also is extensively trained in advanced procedures like HIPEC (hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy) and Whipple surgery.

He is a member of the Society of Surgical Oncology, American College of Surgeons, American Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association, American Association of Cancer Research, and the American Society of Bone Mineral Research.
